Who we are

The Medicine Wheel Journey is a coaching and complementary practice offered by Kayla Hughes, founder of Happiness ~ Wisdom ~ Harmony. This policy explains what personal information is collected through this website and how it is handled.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a password. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us.
• Application information: when you apply or book a call, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to share about what is drawing you to this work.
• Journey information: if you become a client, your practitioner keeps a private record of your name, contact details, your progress through the thresholds, and session notes.
• Technical information: a sign-in token stored in your browser so you stay logged in, and standard server logs generated by our hosting provider.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, to respond to your application, to hold and guide your journey, to keep a record of our work together, and to send you information you have asked for. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. Your information is not used to train AI models.

Who can see it

Your account and journey records are visible only to you and to your practitioner. Our hosting and authentication provider processes data on our behalf so the site can run, and we may disclose information where the law requires it. Nothing you share is discussed with anyone else outside the confidentiality limits described in our Terms.

How long we keep it

Application details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you. Journey records are kept while you are a client and afterwards only as long as needed for professional record-keeping and legal obligations.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself at any time. Sign in, open the account menu in the top right, choose Delete account, and confirm. This permanently removes your account and signs you out. If you would rather have your information removed for you, or you want a copy of what we hold, contact us through the application form and we will act on your request.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our holding it. Where the law gives you additional rights, we will honour those as well.

Children

This service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

Access to the site is protected by authentication, and access to journey records is restricted to your practitioner. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it to yourself.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
